requirements:
-------------

a kernel compiled with bttv modul support. ->
        http://www.strusel007.de/linux/bttv/

PERL 5.0 or higher ->
        www.perl.com

Perl-Gtk ->
        http://projects.prosa.it/gtkperl

xawtv -> X television application. ->
        http://www.strusel007.de/linux/xawtv/

TV Card with BT8x8 chipset based ->
        a computer shoping store.


Runnig appliction:
------------------
login X as root.
run the gcbttv application by "./gcbttv" or "perl gcbttv"

select the best answers and click test. if u can see the picture u can save bye clicking OK.
if u can't see please change options and try again.
At the end don't forget to run "depmod -a".

the script change "/root/.xawtv" and "/etc/modules.conf". But it makes a backup.
